Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) system of benefits can be complex and understanding what your client may be entitled to be difficult for attorneys that deal with the VA infrequently, if ever. This program is geared towards assisting attorneys from all areas of the law in gaining a basic understanding of the VA claims system, the different types of benefits that a Veteran or their dependents are eligible to apply for, and the basics of the appeals process.
Specifically, this program will cover

- Pension Benefits
- Surviving Spouse/Dependent Claims,
- the appeals process from the administrative level through judicial review.
