  • Attorney-client privilege
  • Ethics rules concerning attorney-client communication
  • History of attorney-client privilege
  • Importance of privilege and confidentiality in criminal matters
  • “Traditional” ways of protecting the privilege
  • Protecting the privilege in evolving technology
