Join us for the 15th Annual Lively M. Wilson Memorial Lecture Series, a distinguished event dedicated to ethics, professionalism and civility in the legal field. This year’s program, “Professional Responsibility and Ethical Obligations in the American Judicial System,” will feature keynote presentations by Professor Peter A. Joy of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and Professor Rodney J. Uphoff, Elwood L. Thomas Missouri Endowed Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Missouri School of Law.
Together with a panel of local judges and attorneys, Professors Joy and Uphoff will explore critical issues shaping the legal profession today, including the duty of candor to the tribunal, resisting political influence in prosecutorial decisions, protecting the right to counsel, the role of the organized bar in upholding the rule of law and safeguarding judicial independence.
This thought-provoking program offers valuable insights for legal professionals committed to ethical practice and the integrity of the American judicial system.
