Jay a journalist and formerly a practicing lawyer. He is the Editor-in-Chief at Balls and Strikes, a website that covers the Supreme Court. His writing has previously appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The New Republic, and Slate, among other outlets. Jay previously practiced at large firms in Washington, D.C. and Seattle. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
