Hon. Tracy E. Davis

Judge Tracy E. Davis is a Circuit Court Judge in Jefferson County, KY. Her tenure began January 3, 2023 and is an 8-year term. She currently is an active member of the Judicial Education Committee, Legislative Committee, and presides over Jefferson Circuit Court’s Felony Mental Health Court. 

Judge Davis is a graduate of duPont Manual High School, University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business, and NKU Chase College of Law.

Prior to taking the bench she owned and operated Tracy E. Davis, Esq. PLLC, a private practice law firm, and ran a diversity consulting company, Diversity University Ltd. Co., where she was a certified Diversity Equity and Inclusion Professional (CDP).

Judge Davis currently is a member of Louisville Rotary Club, Women’s Lawyer Association, Volunteers of America Ambassador, serves on the boards of the LISC Advisory Committee, ElderServ, and Kentucky Opera Board of Trustees to name a few. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Judge Davis is the mother of 3 children, 2 sons and one daughter, and has 3 grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking, dancing, swimming, Pilates and reading history novels. Her favorite color is yellow.
