Program Highlights Include:

  • OSHA Presentation
  • Arbitration Simulation
  • Employment Law Update
  • Mediator Panel
  • Immigration Session
  • DEI and Employment Discussion
  • Ethics Sessions
  • Religious Accommodations

And more to be announced.

Nobody seems satisfied with how we protect workplace rights, collective bargaining, labor-management relations, and the interests of U.S. employees, unions and employers.  In our fast-changing world, what works, and what doesn’t?  Should we have stronger federal enforcement, more workplace regulation by the states, and should claims be resolved by agencies or courts? Can people even agree on what would constitute employment policy improvements?  Or does the future of workplace regulation inevitably depend on perpetual battles for dominance, with one group emerging on top, followed by a reshuffling that periodically creates different winners and losers?  These issues and others will be addressed by keynote speaker Philip A. Miscimarra, former Chairman and Board Member on the National Labor Relations Board, who is a partner at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP and a Senior Fellow in the Center for Human Resources at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Speakers include: Sana Abhari, Kentucky Refugee Ministries; Leonard (Joe) Dunman, University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law; Daniel R. Graham, Tachau Meek PLC; Matthew P. Gunn, Gunn Menefee LLC; Justice Lisabeth T. Hughes, Hughes Resolutions; Derek R. Miles, DBL Law; Philip A. Miscimarra, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP; Peter Palmer, Pete Palmer Law; John R.
